Paul Gauthier is a new faculty member in CEA at Penn State University and is looking to hire a graduate student to focus on berry physiology. He hopes to find a student to start in Spring 2027 and is open to MS or PhD applicants (although preference will be given to PhD applicants).

The student will work with Paul to research how "environmental conditions, transpiration, nutrient uptake, and source-sink relationships influence berry growth, flowering, fruit development, and quality".

Any interested students should contact Paul at paul.gauthier@psu.edu with a CV and a research statement. CEA berry production is expanding, so there is no better time to get involved!
